Undoubtedly a talent which needs recognition, even posthumously, in the interest of Indian Classical Music.

Marvelous, these alaps carry the regal stamp of Faiyaz Khan. They reveal Moni Babu to be a musician of the highest class. It is no surprise that AIR failed him, those bureaucrats would not know good music even if it bit them in their backside.

Van Gogh could sell just one painting when he was alive. Examples like the above reinforce the fact that often, there is no co-relation between the quality of music possessed by the artist and recognition from the public. The recordings are beautiful. Thank you sharing. I'll keep coming back to this site to keep myself grounded and remind myself that there are giants hidden, who, if they decide to raise their head, the world will turn into ashes.
